Mr. Arun Pande joins Ashok Leyland as ED-Marketing

Wednesday, April 23, 2003: Mr. Arun Pande has taken over as Executive Director – Marketing, at Ashok Leyland, responsible for the domestic and the export markets. A mechanical engineer from Visveswarayya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, and an alumnus of IIM, Ahmedabad, Mr. Pande has over two decades of varied experience in the automobile industry where he has held senior and top management positions. This is the third senior level appointment in Ashok Leyland in recent months. Mr. Sam Burman, who is Head – Product Development, has held senior positions in R&D at Scania including that of Project Director for new product ranges. Dr. Aravind S. Bharadwaj, who heads the newly formed Advanced Engineering Group, comes with a decade of R&D experience at General Motors and Delphi Automotive Systems.
